About LCHEA
Hello, and welcome to the LCHEA!
​
We are a non-profit, Christian support group established for homeschooling parents in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. We have been in existence for over 30 years and our purpose is to provide support, guidance, and encouragement to one another based on Christian principles. These principles are outlined in ourStatement of Faith.
Among the many things offered to LCHEA members are field trip opportunities for every age group, spelling bee, testing, prom, father/daughter dance, clubs, STEM Expo, yearbook, graduation and much, much more!

Please note, LCHEA is a homeschool support group only and it does not give you legal homeschooling status in the state of South Carolina. Please refer to our SC Homeschool Laws page to learn more of the three options available within our state.

Married to Corey for 18 years. We have 2 children and 1 precious grandson. We have been homeschooling since 2007 (with a couple breaks returning to school).

Married to Ema for over 20 years. Five beautiful children. Have home schooled all the kids, starting in K through high school..

My husband and I have five kids together, three of whom are homeschooled. I have been homeschooling for 10 years.
Rhonda Jennings

I am a single mom to a 12-year-old son. We have been homeschooling since first grade. My son is going into 7th grade.

Married to best friend Jeff for 24 years, both of us prior US Air Force. Mom to 6 amazing children who we have homeschooled for 14 years in Charleston, South Korea and Hungary.

I hold a degree in Elementary Education and have taught public, private Christian and homeschool. We have 4 children, with the oldest in college. This is our 15th year with LCHEA.
