smArt is a fun and creative techniques art class where children will be challenged to use their new skills through creative expression. 

• Each class period, students will be taught a new technique using a predetermined medium. 

• We will practice the new technique, and then students will be challenged to apply it to a weekly assignment. 

• Those assignments will be due prior to the next class through a digital photo sent to the teacher by email.

• Those pieces will be uploaded into our gallery to share. Only the title of the piece will be posted with the photo of their artwork. 

 

smArt is geared to 4th-10th graders, but all ages may participate. For the younger siblings, I suggest mom be nearby in case they need assistance. Some mediums might be too challenging for some younger children.

smArt consist of 4 one-hour classes each month.  Each class will be held on Wednesdays at 2:00pm. If a month has 5 Wednesdays, we will not have class on one of those days. Please see website for details.

smArt class fees are $30 per month for a single household.  Everyone in that household may participate at that price. 

​

smArt is looking forward to having your family participate. Class fees are paid by the calendar month. I do not prorate.

smArt fee payments must be received 48 hours prior to the first class of the month to participate.

smArt classes will be held via Zoom.  You will need to download the Zoom app prior to the start of class and set up an account.
